Congratulations to the LawConnect team - what a finish!!! My amazing account manager for Infotrack Mustafa was part of this amazing achievement as a crew member! πŸ™ŒπŸ₯‚πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΌ

πŸ† We are thrilled to announce that LawConnect has won LINE HONOURS in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2023, just 51 seconds ahead of Andoo Team X!

Skippered and owned by Christian Beck LawConnect crossed the finish line in one day, 19 hours, three minutes and 58 seconds.

We’d like to thank our amazing crew who have worked extremely hard to make it happen. A huge shoutout to our on-shore team, family, friends and colleagues for their work behind the scenes and tremendous support. WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THE ASHES OF A LOVED ONE?
The person who lodges an application for a cremation, often a relative or the executor of the estate, should arrange to collect the ashes.
Once the ashes have been collected, they can be:
β€’ buried in a cemetery in a small plot or placed in a columbarium or niche wall
β€’ preserved in a decorative urn and kept at home or some other favourite spot
β€’ with consent of the owner, scattered on private land
β€’ with consent, scattered at a beach, river, public park or at sea, at a place that was significant to the deceased or their families, or following the personal wishes of the deceased.
Some more unusual options include:-
* Putting them in a firework and blasting them into the night sky in a colourful display
* Put them into a stuffed animal you can hug at night
* Put them into a Bio Urn and grow them into a tree
* Get them made into a diamond and have it set into jewellery

How is an executor or trustee protected against further claims before the estate or trust can be safely distributed?

A Notice of Intention to Distribute the Estate (or Trust) should be advertised, in the prescribed form, giving at least thirty (30) days for claimants to notify the legal personal representative of their claims. Distribution should not take place until at least six months after the date of death or, if the legal personal representative has received notice of an intention to make a family provision claim which has not been commenced, at least 12 months after the date of death.
