Another protection visa granted for our client in May 2026 based on a single Convention ground, political asylum. We are pleased to have acted for this client.

Today I received a notification of a Protection visa grant, applied in December 2024. The application involved intersectionality.

I worked very closely with our client in the preparation of the application, so they were very involved in the process from beginning to end.

I believe a good Protection visa application involves the art of storytelling and the ability to put emotion onto paper. The key is empathy.

We received a notification after office hours yesterday from the Department of Home Affairs that one of our Protection visa applications has been granted (applied in October 2024). The processing time has been very quick.

This was a difficult case involving limited evidence, multiple refugee nexuses and intersectionality of claims. We provided the Department with two rounds of submissions and supporting documents clearly and concisely to assist the delegate to understand the nuance of our client's circumstances with empathy. Our client is very pleased with the outcome after a very emotional journey.
