2. Guardianship of Children- What will their care arrangements be?

life insurance.

Book Recommendation from our Practice Manager Tamara. Why I love this book- This book looks at family violence in a generational and cultural light identifying how family violence is passed down through the generations and accepted, never questioned. But more importantly this book gives men permission to step into their pain and vulnerability in order to heal, become the best versions of themselves and end cyclic family violence. It explores the impacts of men holding their pain and how it projects onto the ones that love them most, the effects family violence has on their children, the sacrifice their partners often make to love them and support them despite the abuse and offers tools that the author himself uses for his own healing journey.
While this book is aimed at men, I hear alot of myself in the parts when the author speaks of the women in these men's lives and the role the play. I am also a mum of 3 boys so I think this is a great insight into understanding how men experience and process pain so that I can support my boys along their own growth and healing journey in life.
Despite some of the heavy content, I really enjoy this book and think it's great for everyone to get their hands on.
