Merry Christmas 🎅 from our team to yours! This year at Divorce Done Differently, Catherine Parks and I decided to gift our clients something truly yummy and to make a difference to our charity of choice along the way.

We purchased 1000 wonderful Christmas feel good crackers from Two Good Co. With each Cracker, we are gifting a delicious dinner cooked with love to a women's shelter…as well as our clients receiving a voucher for a free scoop of Messina gelato, a party hat, an ‘Inside Scoop’ story and a Table-Talker Prompt for deeper connections around the table.

When it comes to separation and divorce, there is no need to fight. It’s all about finding a way to communicate constructively, especially when kids are involved. Effective communication is a two-way process. Here are our top tips for clients and professionals:
⭐️Allow people to express their thoughts and feelings. They need to feel heard.
⭐️Practice active listening by maintaining eye contact and paraphrasing the other person’s statements to ensure understanding.
⭐️Try not to talk over the other or interrupt.
⭐️Deep breaths. You can do this!
