Thinking about buying property?

How do you know if you are ready to buy property?

In our opinion, if you are ready to buy property you should know the answer to the following questions:
•Do you know what you are looking for in a property
•Do you know what a building and pest report or a strata report is
•Do you know the difference between buying at auction or under auction conditions as opposed to private treaty
•Do you know what a cooling off period is
•If you need to borrow money from a bank to complete your purchase:
-Do you know what your borrowing power is
-Do you know what LVR (loan to value ratio) actually means and how it specifically relates to your circumstances
-Do you know a good banker or broker to assist with your finance

And last but not least, do you know a good lawyer/conveyancer who can guide you through the process.
