Unregistered Operator Jailed - NEWS
This week an unregistered operator providing immigration advice has been jail for six and a half years after a joint investigation by the Australian Border Force, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian Federal Police.
The woman who represented herself as a registered migration agent first came to the attention in authorities in 2013.
Migration law is extremely complex and constantly changing area of the law. The practice of migration law is subject to complex set of legislative regulations and policy. This is different to other areas of law where case law and precedent dominate practice.
Qualification & Registration are mandatory for providing immigration advice.
