The accused was succesful in his application for bail as it was established he sufferred from a substance abuse disorder and that it wold be in the interests of the community to have him attend a full time residential rehab so as to reintegrate him into the community

Steven Nazarian appeared in the Family Court for a wife in an interesting matter where the husband had secretly sold the family home, at an undervalue and the wife was served with an eviction notice.

A succesful argument was made that the sale of the home should be set aside

The Court ordered that the sale be set aside and that the Husband pay the wife's legal costs

Steven Nazarian appeared yesterday for an accused who threatened a Police officer after the officer had testified against him in a lenghty criminal trial.

The Magistrate had initailly sentence the accused to 20 months gaol.

After presenting evidence on teh Appeal re the accused's mental health, PTSD and good prospects of rehabilitation, the Appeal Courtr reduced the sentence to 6 months.

A great result for the accused who gets 14 months of his liberty back

The Magistrate had initially sentence the accused to 20 months jail.

After presenting evidence re the accused's mental health, PTSD and good prospects of rehabilitation, the Appeal Court reduced the sentence to 6 months.

A great result for the accused who gets 14 months of his liberty back
