EMMA GERMANO wins the legal fight against the VFF.

Andrew Weidemann burns 3-400k (not of members money as he said on the country hour) of his own money and his backers..... VFF members are getting their costs paid back.

VFF has been impotent for a long time, and these blokes have been around for a long time. Someone comes in with a positive reform agenda and they can't handle it.

She's been voted in, let her do the job.

TRAINEESHIP (50K minimum)
Yarroweyah Vic.
Mortlock dairies have two summer students going back to high school, and an opportunity has opened up for a trainee.

GEA software going into the dairy currently (milk meters, cell count etc...)
Grain mill with 300ton of storage.
5000ton of silage in a pit.
Feed pad and mixer wagons
Large shade structure has been recently constructed.
Autodraft, new yards going in at the moment.....
60 stand rotary.
Close to new machinery.....

Traineeship to begin 1/02/2021

Training is a 12 month course, will consist of on-farm training and some off farm (chemical handling etc....). Trainee's will also get tutelage of off farm consultants in nutrition, agronomy and veterinary from time to time as these consultants visit the farm.
Ideally this leads to a long career in the business, with a structure allowing for the trainee to progress through the ranks of management within the business.
Accommodation is available (if required) at $100 per week in an adjoining leased house.
The role will involve;
milking
Feeding (mixer wagon)

ORGANIC DAIRY FARMERS OF AUSTRALIA COLLAPSE

Sunday I'm working with a client that has been left short a bit more than $100,000..... didn't get paid the April milk cheque, and may forfeit the first two weeks of May.

I've engaged my lawyer Stuart Walter at Mills Oakley. If there is other affected farmed best to join forces on legal spend, as it's more efficient (and cheaper) if one lawyer is doing the work and diluting the costs over multiple clients, rather than each affected farmer starting from scratch. You can private message me for chat (no charge). Stuart is very good and we've worked together for 5 years.

https://www.millsoakley.com.au/people/stuart-walter/

In addition NAB is the secured creditor, so it's worth putting pressure on them to pay dairy farm suppliers, as under the old Romalpa clause (retention of tile clause pre PPSR) the lawywers no doubt look at retention of title over the last six weeks of milk.

** should all farmers have a PPSR registered over their milk companies to ensure payment in a collapse? Sounds 'far fetched' but these are stange times.

Finally if one lawyer holds proxy at the creditors meeting it can put them in a position of strength to get a better deal (not a preferential creditor deal, but a better deal for all suppliers) particularly if Deloitte (liquidator) need a certain amount of votes to get a deal through (very strong if a lawyer holds proxy for hypothetically a dozen of so farmers voting as a block).

Private message and contact details and I'll co-ordinate legal to discuss with you. There will be no charge for initial consultations with Stuart. If he doesn't merit in working for you, he'll send you in the right direction before he charges you anything.
