Buyers be aware! This will not work, the current state of the industry simply doesn't allow for it.

🚨 Big changes are coming to Australia’s property industry

From 1 July 2026, real estate agents, developers, conveyancers, and property professionals will all fall under new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) laws.

That means:
βœ… Registering with AUSTRAC
βœ… Verifying client identities
βœ… Reporting suspicious activity
βœ… Keeping detailed records

The goal? To close long-standing loopholes and stop criminals from washing dirty money through Australian property.
