Australia limits migration to major cities, but encourages migration to regional Australia. To prove that, Australia has introduced three new regional visas. Two of them are available from November 2019 and applications for new permanent residency visa applications will be open from November 2022.

There are a lot of changes for the regional skilled migration programme which gives priority to singles, considering that they can claim the same number of points as people who have skilled partners whereas partners have to meet the same requirements as the main applicants, which is practically very hard to achieve.
