Are you aware of the peer passenger condition that applies to Provisional P1 drivers?

☀️ During the day, drivers on their red Ps can offer anyone a lift, provided they follow all the road rules and drive safely.

🌙 Between 11pm and 5am, drivers aged under 25 and on their red Ps must not drive with more than one passenger who is under 21.

✉️ An exemption may be granted for genuine family, work or volunteering purposes. However, P1 drivers need to have received the exemption from Service NSW before they embark on those late-night journeys, not after! You can apply for an exemption at a Service NSW service centre.

What does this mean for DLH Solicitors Rylstone.

DLH Solicitors Rylstone will revert to trading as Allan Hogan Solicitor and business will continue “as usual”.

Our office will continue to open Monday to Friday as it has done for over 60 years and our very efficient and knowledgeable staff will continue to provide legal service of the highest standard.

We are sure that Allan will be appearing at our office here in Rylstone a little more regularly after 1 October 2025.

The team at DLH Solicitors Rylstone advise that we will be taking a well deserved break for the Christmas 2024/New Year 2025 period.

Our office will close Friday 20 December 2024 and re-open at 9.00 am Monday 13 January 2025.

We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, safe holiday period and a fabulous New Year.

Remember demerit points will run from Friday 20 December 2024 to Wednesday 1 January 2025 inclusive for all speeding, seatbelt, motorcycle helmet and mobile phone offences.
