AML/CTF. VOI. What does it all mean?
From 1 July, all legal representatives (as well as Real Estate Agents and Banking Institutions) are under strict Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing requirements. This means we may ask more questions than you're used to; you may have to share things like Bank Statements with us to explain where your funds are coming from and unfortunately, you may have to repeat the process several times (Conveyancer! Lender! Real Estate Agent!). It applies to Vendors and Purchasers; unfortunately, no exceptions.
Having all your ID documents available, in matching names and ready to share this information early in your matter will ensure a smooth conveyancing transaction.

Happy International Women's Day!
