It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Joseph Mazurkiewicz, a man whose leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment left a lasting mark on our firm and on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
For many years, he served as a Director of Adams & Partners Lawyers, leading with wisdom, professionalism, and genuine care for both his clients and his colleagues. He was more than an exceptional lawyer, he was a trusted mentor, a thoughtful leader, and a person whose quiet strength and sound judgment earned the respect of everyone around him.
His influence extended well beyond the practice of law. He believed in treating others with fairness, dignity and compassion. He fostered a culture of integrity that continues to shape our firm today. He generously shared his knowledge, encouraged those beginning their careers, and celebrated the successes of others with humility and kindness.
Above all, he will be remembered as a man of character. His legacy is reflected not only in his professional achievements, but also in the relationships he built, the people he inspired and the example he set throughout his life.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those who are mourning his loss. We are grateful for the years we shared with Joe and the enduring impact he has on our firm and our lives. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Joe's funeral will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden Valley Way, Leppington, South Chapel at 10:30am on Wednesday 5 August 2026.
After the service, the family will have a private burial but invite you to join them at Ingleburn RSL to celebrate the life of Joseph Mazurkiewicz.
If anyone would like to pass on wishes to Joe’s family at this time, please feel free to drop a message into our Penrith Office and we will pass it onto the Mazurkiewicz family.
