Not every deal is worth chasing, 25+ years in land acquisition has taught me that.
It’s tempting to take every opportunity. But if the numbers don’t add up, the zoning’s off, or expectations don’t align, forcing it rarely ends well.
Walking away isn’t failure. It’s thinking long-term.
The right deal will come, smoother, cleaner, with the right people at the table.
Some lessons only come the slow way… experience.
