Watch for scam emails. Some email addresses have been subtly changed to look like they have come from your Conveyancer.

✅ Practical Ways to Stay Safe
• Use secure platforms: Exchange bank details via encrypted apps like PEXA Key (includes up to $2m Secure Communication Guarantee)
• Verify independently: Call your conveyancer or bank on a trusted number—not via the email that may be compromised
• Don’t ignore warnings: If Confirmation of Payee says the account doesn’t match, stop and check
• Look closely: Check sender details, avoid urgency traps, and never click unknown links
• Act fast if in doubt: Call your bank immediately, then alert your conveyancer and report to Scamwatch - https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam
