This is why your conveyancer states that you should verify that the title you're buying matches the fences on the ground. This driveway drama affects 3 properties. Hopefully these neighbours all get along and we can resolve this amicably with a re-subdivision of all 3 lots, aligning the boundaries to where the fences have been existing for 20 odd years. Or will it fuel a fencing feud with adverse possession applications left, right and centre?.. literally.

Next time it might be worth spending the extra 0.1% (in this case) of your purchase price to confirm what you're getting.
