🚨 Already submitted your Expression of Interest (EOI)? You may still be able to increase your points!

Many people think that once you submit your EOI in SkillSelect, you’re locked in. ❌
But that’s not necessarily the case.

✅ Before you receive an invitation, you can update your EOI if your circumstances change — and potentially increase your points by:

• Improving your English score
• Gaining additional skilled work experience
• Claiming eligible partner points
• Obtaining a NAATI certification
• Completing a Professional Year
• Gaining a new qualification

But there’s an important detail you need to know… 👀

When you increase your points, your position among other candidates may also change. And where applicants have the same points, the date you reached that score can make a difference.

⚠️ Once you receive an invitation, you cannot update your EOI to increase your points for that invitation.

🎯 That’s why it’s important to keep your EOI accurate, up to date and supported by the required evidence.

Have you already submitted your EOI? Are you wondering whether you could increase your points? Let us know in the comments 👇

First applications for the Work and Holiday visa Subclass 462 have been paused for 24 countries.

25/08/2026

🚨 Planning a Working Holiday in Australia? STOP — this update could affect your plans.

Australia has paused first-time Working Holiday visa applications from 24 countries, including 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇦🇷 Argentina, 🇮🇩 Indonesia, 🇨🇱 Chile and 🇹🇭 Thailand.

If you’re from one of the affected countries and haven’t lodged your first application yet, you currently can’t apply until the cap reopens.

But there’s an important distinction 👇
✅ Second and third Working Holiday visas are NOT affected by this pause.

And there are still different arrangements for 🇹🇷 Türkiye, 🇸🇲 San Marino, 🇨🇳 China, 🇮🇳 India and 🇻🇳 Vietnam.

🇦🇺 Can you get your Australian visa processed faster?
Yes — but there’s a catch. 👀

Priority processing isn’t simply for cases that are stressful, urgent or inconvenient. Immigration generally reserves it for truly exceptional circumstances, and you’ll need strong evidence to support why your case should be treated differently.

If you believe your circumstances are genuinely exceptional, get advice before requesting priority processing.

🚨 Copy Someone Else's Visa Application? It Could Cost You Your Visa.

Copying answers from a friend, relative, or the internet is one of the fastest ways to put your visa application at risk.

Your application should reflect your study plans, financial circumstances, and future goals—not someone else's. If your answers don't match your documents or visa history, your application could be refused or even cancelled.

Even if someone prepares your application for you, you're still responsible for every answer submitted.

Keep it honest. Keep it personal. Back it up with evidence.

⏳ Your visa expires soon... but rushing your application could cost you more than time.

Many people wait until the last minute to apply for their next visa—but that's when costly mistakes happen.

A rushed application can lead to:
✔️ Choosing the wrong visa
✔️ Missing key eligibility requirements
✔️ Lodging an invalid application
✔️ Confusion around bridging visas and work rights
✔️ Finding out too late that you can't apply from within Australia

The goal isn't just to apply before your visa expires—it's to apply correctly.

Planning ahead gives you more options, fewer surprises, and a stronger application.
