Leisuretex Pickleball Cup - It was a big dill

Our team took to the courts last week for a friendly (?) game,..actually there were 12 games.
It all came down to the singles match when the boss bowed out and our newest staff Cam took home the win!
We had such a great morning and the sore joints the following day reminded that we were alive.

Another big one underway 👷‍♂️

The Leisuretex team is out in Coffs Harbour delivering protective coatings to this large-scale noise barrier wall. Projects like this are all about consistency, durability, and getting the job done right across every metre.

We're carrying out extensive remedial repairs and a full repaint of these iconic villas, just across the road from Sea World. Never just a fresh coat of paint - we're restoring, protecting, and future-proofing every surface to stand up to the coastal conditions.

It's these times that we take a moment to do the simple joys that are intentional yet fulfilling.

This week, the ladies here at Leisuretex celebrated IWD through painting and (lots of) nibbling, and we acknowledge all of the powerful women before and ahead of us... Women leading, women caring, women fighting, women carrying, women showing up, and women cheering.

We hope you had a great Christmas that found moments of joy, rest and of course, delicious food.

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a year defined by quality, partnership and elevation.

Thank you for showing us your support in every moment. As always, it's important to reflect on the things that we are especially grateful for this year:

* Capturing our painting team in accessing the highest and most challenging corners of various buildings across the city.

* You choosing us to paint multiple apartments and buildings across QLD and northern NSW, one of our favourites being the award-winning project - a full repaint at Brighton on Broadwater, Southport.

* Celebrating our big win for being QLD's 2025 Overall Painters of the Year.

*Being interviewed by President of the QLD Master Painters Association, Chris Munday for an upcoming feature article.

* Relocating to a larger, upgraded office—a significant boost to productivity and team morale after nearly 20 years in our previous space.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited for a year filled with, new and existing painting projects that will challenge us and showcase our craft. After time to recharge, we’ll be returning to work refreshed, inspired, and ready to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to everything we do. It’s shaping up to be an energising year of development, innovation, and great work ahead.

It perfectly represents the night we had, and the awards kept coming, until Leisuretex was announced, the Overall Painter of the Year 2025 Award!! 🏆

The criteria for these awards - things like preparation, uniformity, quality of work are the very things that we align ourselves with when it comes to delivering a successful project. It feels so good to have the recognition for our work and we know that our team worked very hard to deserve such an award again this year.
