Mandatory Pool Barrier Compliance
It is now a legal requirement for owners of land where a swimming pool or spa is located to have the safety barriers inspected and to lodge a certificate of barrier compliance with their council. Greater disclosure in also required in a Section 32.

A stamp duty duty waiver of 50% for new residential properties and 25% for existing residential properties will be applicable to purchases of up to $1 million for contracts entered into on or after the 25 November 2020 and before the 1 July 2021.
