You might be asked if you are a Politically Exposed Person (PEP).
A PEP is someone who holds (or has held) a prominent public position, such as:
• Government officials
• Politicians
• Senior public servants
We may also ask if you’re a close associate or family member of a PEP.
This doesn’t mean there’s an issue — it just means we may need to take a few extra compliance steps.

We may ask where your funds are coming from (also called “source of funds”).
This could include things like:
• Savings
• Sale of another property
• Gifts from family
• Loan funds
We don’t need every detail — just enough to meet our legal obligations.
