Our Senior Associate, Sam Chidley and Law Graduate, Christine Mackrell, attended the annual clerkship evening at Flinders University to discuss the alternative pathway of working within a thriving private country practice.

The evening focused on the unique exposure available in regional practice, including assisting highly valued farming clients across a broad range of legal areas, together with the strong sense of team camaraderie that can only exist within a country firm, including traditions such as winter “fire pit Fridays”…..

Overall, it was a great opportunity to meet the upcoming generation of lawyers who, as a firm, we are committed to supporting and developing throughout their careers.

We are incredibly proud to be Platinum Sponsors of such a fantastic local club that brings people together both on and off the field. Community has always been at the heart of what we do, and supporting organisations like JPFNC is something our whole team genuinely enjoys.

Great to see the next generation of regional lawyers stepping up….

Nicholas Welch and Christine Mackrell from KKL recently attended the Young Lawyers Breakfast with the new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia, the Honourable Justice Stein.

It was a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from Her Honour, gain insight into the direction of the Court, and connect with other young practitioners across the profession.

At KKL, we are big believers in backing our junior lawyers- giving them opportunities to learn, grow, and build strong networks within the legal community.

A big happy 30th to our Senior Associate, Sam Chidley!

To celebrate the milestone, some of the KKL team got together on the weekend to share in one of Sam’s favourite pastimes – a day at Morphettville. It was a great opportunity to step away from the office, enjoy each other’s company and mark a special occasion together.
