Monk Lawyers now have 4 specialist criminal lawyers, making us (I think!) the biggest specialist criminal law firm in the State. Robert Fisher has returned from a well earned break to re-join the team. Robert started at Legal Aid with Pip in 2014, and they have worked together since then - with Robert joining Monk Lawyers as our first employee back in 2024. We are so glad that Robert - with their decade+ of experience and renowned calm courtroom advocacy - have decided to come back to us!

Monk Lawyers, together with Two Spots Legal (headed by Yolanda Prenc) and Philippa Morgan are pleased to announce the Criminal Lawyers Mentoring Program. Commencing today, lawyers and law students practicing in or interested in practicing in criminal law are invited to book a free and confidential mentoring session with a senior criminal lawyer. Whether you need general advice about a matter, career advice or just some time to de brief, our mentors will be available each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. To book a session, head to the form and fill in your details. We look forward to expanding to include mentors from across the State.
