We invite you to join our upcoming webinar on the topic of Getting Ready for Queensland's Reportable Conduct Scheme.

With the Scheme commencing on 1 July 2026, organisations that care for, supervise or exercise authority over children face a material shift in accountability, governance, and operational decision-making.

Presented by Skye Rose, Practice Leader and Tal Shmerling, Special Counsel, this webinar will provide a focused, practical briefing to support your organisation to prepare with confidence and meet both the legal requirements and the broader expectations of a child safe organisation.

We will provide a practical, leadership-level briefing on:

👉The structure and intent of the Scheme, and what it requires in practice for governance, oversight and accountability
👉The role of the Head of Entity and how that responsibility is exercised and supported day to day
👉What constitutes reportable conduct, and how to recognise and escalate issues early
👉Designing systems that support timely notification, decision-making and documentation
👉 The interaction with the Child Safe Standards, and the implications for organisational culture, leadership and assurance

Who should attend?
This session is designed for board members, CEOs and senior leaders responsible for governance and organisational readiness. It focuses on how the Scheme operates in practice, and what needs to be in place to support consistent and defensible responses when concerns arise.

We're taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout this June to help break the devastating cycle of homelessness.

On June 18th, CEO & Practice Leader Tessa van Duyn and Practice Leader Rowdy Johnson are spending one of the longest, coldest nights on the streets to help raise money for people experiencing homelessness.

In her 7th year supporting the cause, Tessa says "I know firsthand that supporting Vinnies Victoria makes a tangible impact on the people who need it."

Here for good | Ride For Wish Kids 2026

Throughout February, the team at Moores took part in Make-A-Wish Australia’s Ride for Wish Kids, raising funds to help make wishes come true for critically ill children.

In Australia today, more than 14,000 children are living with a life-threatening illness or condition. These funds help grant life-changing wishes, bringing hope, joy and inspiration to children and their families.

We are incredibly proud to share that, for the second year in a row, Moores was the top fundraising team in the country. Together, we raised $6,487 in support of this important mission.

This year’s team was an all-women group of five. Well done to Cecelia, Abbey, Dinithi, Laura and Emily.
