Introducing Sonia.

Born and raised in Griffith and from a local farming family, Sonia joined Cater & Blumer straight from school in 1995.

Over the years, she has worked across many areas of the firm, building a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way. Since around 2007, Sonia has focused primarily on conveyancing, assisting clients with residential, farming and commercial property matters throughout the region.

With almost three decades at Cater & Blumer, Sonia is a familiar face to many of our clients and is known for her practical approach, attention to detail and deep understanding of the local community.

When she's not at work, Sonia enjoys spending time with family, heading off on trips in the caravan and, much to the amusement of her colleagues, organising office sing-alongs.

We're proud to have Sonia as part of the Cater & Blumer team and grateful for the experience and enthusiasm she brings to the office every day.

What an unforgettable experience it was supporting Mamma Mia! as the naming sponsor of Griffith Regional Theatre’s community musical.

Introducing Lily O'Keeffe.

Born and raised in Griffith, Lily returned home during the final year of her Law Degree and joined Cater & Blumer as a Law Clerk.

After gaining experience in Wills and Estates, Conveyancing, farm and water transactions, leases, and Estate Disputes, Lily was admitted as a Solicitor in 2021 and has continued to build strong relationships with clients while assisting them through a range of legal matters.

Passionate about supporting her local community, Lily serves on the committees of the Country Education Foundation of Griffith and the Griffith Domestic Violence Committee.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the local community with her young daughter and getting out for walks with her dogs. She is passionate about her local community and loves being involved wherever she can.

We're proud to have Lily as part of the Cater & Blumer team and appreciate the professionalism, enthusiasm, and community spirit she brings to her role every day.

Throughout this year's Succession Planning Roadshow with NSW Farmers, we have been fortunate to work alongside some outstanding professionals who share our commitment to supporting farming families.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Boyce for their involvement as expert guest panellists throughout the series. With extensive experience working alongside agricultural businesses and family enterprises, Boyce brought valuable insights to the succession planning conversation and helped farmers better understand the financial and business considerations involved in planning for the future.

As our 2026 Succession Planning Roadshow comes to a close, we've been reflecting on the conversations, connections and communities we've had the privilege of being part of across regional New South Wales.

In partnership with NSW Farmers, we've travelled to Wagga Wagga, Hillston, Deniliquin, Cowra, Yass, West Wyalong and Bega, meeting farming families who generously shared their stories, challenges and plans for the future.

Along the way, we've been joined by an incredible group of guest panellists from banking, accounting and counselling backgrounds, each bringing valuable insights to the succession planning conversation.

While we set out to provide practical guidance and support, we've gained just as much from the experience. Hearing from farmers across a diverse range of enterprises and stages of succession has been both insightful and rewarding.

A sincere thank you to NSW Farmers, our guest panellists, event partner, and most importantly, the farmers and families who attended, contributed and trusted us to be part of these important conversations.
