Experienced Support Worker / Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and reliable female Support Worker with Team Leader experience to support a young Aboriginal NDIS participant.

This is an opportunity for an experienced support worker who is confident working with clients with complex support needs, and behaviors of concern.
Location: Armadale and surrounding suburbs

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide direct support while also taking a leadership role in coordinating day-to-day support and ensuring clear communication across the support team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

- Has 3+ years of experience in the mental health and disability sector, with demonstrated experience supporting clients with substance use issues, alcohol and other drug-related challenges, and psychosis.

- Has previous Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or supervisory experience

- Has relevant mental health training or experience

- Is confident supporting people who may present with behaviors of concern

- Can provide clear, accurate and timely progress notes and incident reporting

- Is reliable, proactive and able to take responsibility for the quality and continuity of support

- Has a strong understanding of NDIS participant rights, safeguarding and person-centred support.
