Charges dismissed. Costs recovered. Career protected.

Our client did the right thing and called the police after being assaulted. Instead, they were charged with domestic violence offences carrying serious penalties and putting their professional future at risk.

After taking over the matter from another solicitor (from another firm) who had advised a guilty plea, we uncovered critical evidence through strategic subpoenas confirming our client was the victim.

We made detailed representations to police, exposing major flaws in the prosecution case which led to the charges being withdrawn prior to the defended hearing.

The result?
✔ All charges withdrawn and dismissed
✔ ADVO withdrawn
✔ Full costs awarded
✔ No conviction, no financial loss

A life-changing outcome.

Serious charges. High stakes. Strong result.

Our client pleaded guilty to offences carrying up to 10 years’ imprisonment. Through early strategic negotiations highlighting the comparative immaturity of the young adult offender and other unique facts surrounding the offending, Manny Conditsis & Kayla Nielsen secured the prosecution remaining in the Local Court.

With detailed psychological evidence and persuasive presentation of the case to Prosecutors, they agreed that our client should not receive a custodial sentence. The Judge agreed but it didn’t stop there, as the matter was finalised without the imposition of a criminal conviction. This was a life-changing outcome, protecting our client’s future and career pathway.

If you or someone you know is facing serious criminal charges, speak with our experienced criminal law team on (02) 4324 5688. We are committed to achieving the best possible outcome for our clients.

Rising expectations. Early inheritance. Financial pressure...

It’s a combination we are seeing more often and one that can lead to complex estate disputes.

Unequal gifting, informal arrangements, and unclear intentions frequently become points of conflict.

Proper legal structuring isn’t just about planning, it’s about preventing future disputes.

We are proud to see Liam Loader featured in the Law Society Journal (March 2026) in the article Front and Centre - The Central Coast.

In the interview, Liam shares his journey from Sydney to the Central Coast, his experience in the Northern Territory, and how those perspectives have shaped his approach to advocacy and litigation at Conditsis.

“One of the most powerful lessons I took away ... was the power of authentic advocacy”

His insights highlight what makes the Central Coast such a unique and evolving legal landscape. A region defined by collaboration, opportunity, and a growing professional community.

"There is a real opportunity for there to be a balance between finding your identity as an advocate and as a professional … whilst also being part of a region that is becoming really robust."

As Liam puts it, real progress comes from connection: between people, professions, and purpose.

This article was a fantastic recognition of Liam and the broader Central Coast legal community.

Many Australians now believe their children expect an inheritance.

That expectation is quietly reshaping financial decisions... from early gifting to delayed retirement.

But when expectations and reality don’t align, disputes often follow.

Clear planning and communication are critical to avoiding conflict later.

If your estate planning decisions are being influenced by family expectations, it’s important to understand your options.

Speak to one of our lawyers for advice on how decisions that are being made now, can reshape expectations later on - (02) 4324 5688

1 in 3 Australians over 50 still don’t have a Will.

At the same time, most say leaving an inheritance is important. This gap between intention and planning can lead to unintended outcomes, delays and costs and family disputes.

A properly prepared Will remains one of the most important legal safeguards.

If you have not reviewed your Will recently, or don’t have one, now is the time to act. We can help you, contact our Wills & Estates team on (02) 4324 5688.
