A reputable, well established medium sized law firm on the Upper North Shore of Sydney seeks a full-time junior legal secretary for our Commercial, Property and Estates team.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- General administrative duties
- Dictaphone typing
- Document creation
- Filing and general file management
- Relief reception
To be considered for this role, you must
- Be keen to work in the legal industry
- Be confident, mature minded and intelligent
- Be able to communicate professionally in English, both written and verbally
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Have accurate spelling and grammar
- Possess excellent organisational skills
- Have accurate touch typing skills, with a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
- Be able to work within a team as well as individually
- Show a willingness to learn
- Have a personable friendly attitude
- Pleasant phone manner
This position would suit a business college or TAFE graduate wishing to gain experience and acquire skills within the legal industry.
Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
