What an incredible evening at the Gold Coast Mayoress Foundation's Annual Charity Ball. ✨

We were proud to support this year's event and to stand alongside so many generous supporters helping make a real difference in our local community.

It was a pleasure to have Anna Morgan join us for the evening as we supported the outstanding work of Havafeed Community Relief, one of this year's beneficiaries, alongside Motherhood Village, St John's Crisis Centre, Everything Suarve and Enriching Lives Foundation. These organisations provide vital support to individuals and families across the Gold Coast, and we're grateful to play a small part in helping them continue their important work.

A huge thank you to the Gold Coast Mayoress Foundation for hosting such a successful evening and to everyone who contributed to another fantastic fundraising event.

Together, we can continue making a positive impact in our community. 💙

Important update for our clients: new AML/CTF requirements from 1 July 2026

From today, law firms across Australia, including Robinson & Robinson, are officially regulated under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) Act. This is a national reform affecting the entire legal profession, not something unique to us.

What does this mean in practice?
For certain types of matters, such as property and conveyancing transactions, company and trust formation or changes and other matters, we are now required to comply with the AML/CTF requirements.

If your matter falls into one of these categories, you may notice a few extra steps at the start of engagement — such as verifying your identity or answering additional questions about a transaction. Rest assured, this applies to every client and every firm across the country; it's simply part of doing business under the new law.
