Another Super Good news for international students 😍

If you were unable to travel to Australia due to border closure and your 485 temporary graduate visa expired on or after 1 Feb 2020, you can apply for a replacement 485 visa for the same duration as your original 485 visa.

Another good news is student who have completed a Master degree in coursework will be able to apply for 3 years temporary graduate 485 visa instead of 2 years.

If you are a student visa or work visa holder and fully vaccinated, you may be eligible to enter Australia without applying for the travel exemption.

QLD just opened the State Nomination Program late today. It has some updated information for the new FY.

The biggest change is the QLD Graduate and Working Stream applicant must have Proficient English.

BSMQ updated its website yesterday regarding the opening time for the state nomination program from Early September to September 🙃

Hopefully, it will open soon.

If you are applying for the 491SBO stream, please check the documents required on the official website or contact us for the updated information. There are some small changes.

Just want to share some figures from Tasmania State Nomination Program.

In this new financial year, Tasmania has allocated 3300 places for skilled migration. (1100 for 190 nominations and 2200 for 491 nominations)

Until 6 August, the Tasmania government has issued a total of 240 invitations, including 60 invitation for 190, and 180 invitations for 491 applications.

Even if you are overseas now, you may still be eligible to apply for the nomination.

The Immigration Department further relaxed working hours for Student Visa holders.

You can work more than 40 hours fortnightly if you are employed in specified sectors.

📊As toward the end of the 20-21 financial year, most states and territories have closed their nomination program.

South Australia is also closing its nomination program for Skilled and Business migration on 28 June. It is scheduled to reopen on 19 July 2021. You will need to lodge a NEW EOI once it opens in July.

The QLD state nomination program CLOSED today for The Skilled Nominated (Permanent) visa (subclass 190) and The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) including 491SBO visa as well.

New requirements and opening for the next financial year will be released when available.
