From a family legacy built on the open road to a meticulous frame-up restoration, this is exactly the kind of story I created this channel to tell. Australian trucking has a rich and fascinating history, and I'm passionate about making sure these stories are captured and shared.

From the yard to the show circuit, what a story!
Just published a brand new feature on Trucksales that I wrote and photographed, and this one is an absolute ripper.
Ray had a 1997 Western Star Heritage sitting dormant in a yard in Yarraville, engine already replaced, potential quietly fading. Then at 1:00am one night, it popped into his head and he couldn't let it go.
What followed was a two-year restoration driven by 47 years of family transport history and the end result is stunning. Chrome, classic lines and a truck that's now turning heads on the show circuit.
