The friendly face leading our Family Law matters at Wilding & Co Lawyers✨

Monique recently completed her Bachelor of Laws at Australian Catholic University and is currently undertaking her Practical Legal Training, with admission as a solicitor coming up in May 2026.

As the main point of contact for Family Law matters, Monique supports clients through what can often be a stressful time with professionalism, care and compassion.

Outside of work, Monique loves discovering new food spots, enjoys all things true crime, has already travelled to 14 countries and she’s got a passion for baking (which our office is very happy about🍪🧁)

Meet Emily! 👋🏽

Emily recently completed her Bachelor of Laws at just 21, studying full time while beginning her legal career. She will be admitted as a solicitor in NSW in May 2026!

Emily has been part of the firm for the past two years already, working closely with our Principal Lawyer Ben, and has gained valuable experience in Wills, Estate and Probate.

Known for being focused and highly committed to her work, Emily approaches every matter with strong knowledge, attention to detail and genuine care for our clients.

Growing up, Emily played eight different sports (some at state level👏🏼), which may also explain her strong work ethic.

Organised, driven, and always happy to help (fuelled by coffee and the occasional sweet treat🧁☕️)

Meet Ben! 👋🏽

Ben Wilding is the Principal Lawyer at Wilding & Co Lawyers, leading our team of 6 and overseeing a wide range of matters across the firm.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ben spent 12 years as a high school teacher and completed his law degree while still teaching full time, a reflection of the work ethic he brings to his clients every day.

A loyal South Sydney Rabbitohs supporter and a big footy fan, Ben is also actively involved in the Inner West community and supports local grassroots through sponsorship of Five Dock RSL Rugby League Football Club.

Outside of the office, Ben enjoys going for a surf or to the gym, and he firmly rates Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels as his all-time favourite movie. He’s also a father of two, so patience and negotiation come naturally to him😎

Ben practices primarily in Estate Litigation, Conveyancing, Wills & Probate matters and is known for giving clear, practical advice - without the legal jargon.
