Kevin Vierboom is the principal solicitor of the Central Coast based law firm Fourtree Lawyers. Since being admitted as a Solicitor in 1992, Kevin has practised in the areas of Industrial Law, including Public Service Superannuation and Award entitlements and Criminal Law, including traffic offences, serious assault matters, breaches of AVO's, goods in custody and fraud. Kevin has practised as an

investigative lawyer, and has conducted and managed several complex fraud and disciplinary investigations. As an advocate Kevin uses his investigative skills to identify practical lines of defence in matters before the courts. Kevin has extensive experience in all aspects of industrial and criminal law and has appeared as an advocate in the Local, District and Supreme Court jurisdictions. He has also appeared before the NSW Industrial Relations Commission and the Consumer Claims and Tenancy Tribunal. Qualifications

Our 30-year-old client was charged with shoplifting $1,100 worth of goods from Coles; a decision made during a period of financial hardship that he later deeply regretted.

Thanks to careful preparation, early acceptance of responsibility, and submissions highlighting his circumstances, the Magistrate imposed a Conditional Release Order, without recording a conviction.

While a CRO still appears on his criminal record, no conviction was recorded, preserving his employment prospects and ability to support his young family in Sydney and overseas.
