Give to those who need it most this Christmas. 🎄
Each year, hundreds of children go without Christmas. As we know, 2020 has been devastating with many local families losing part or all of their income, making this Christmas a time of stress and anxiety. To help give these families a Christmas to remember, and to ease the financial pressure of gifts, we have partnered with a local charity - BK 2 Basics Melbourne.
Back 2 Basics throws a Christmas party every year for local families, complete with a Christmas lunch and Santa Clause to hand out presents; however due to restrictions, this just isn’t possible this year. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t keep the Christmas spirit alive through gift giving! 🎄
To make Christmas as magical as possible for children within our local shires, we will be collecting donations for children aged 1-15 years at the SJD Homes head office and delivering them to Back 2 Basics on December 15, 2020.
All presents must be:
🎁 Appropriate for children aged 1-15 years
🎁 Unopened or new with tags
🎁 Unwrapped so that we can ensure all donations are safe and appropriate
🎁 And, delivered before December 15, 2020 at 12pm
We will also be accepting donations of wrapping supplies such as sticky tape and wrapping paper, and non-perishable food items for hampers.
We wish everyone a safe and happy lead up to Christmas, and a huge thank you to everyone who chooses to donate.
