IN THE NEWS: From Monday, the 30th of October 2023, a pilot program launched in 2020 to help support domestic violence victims with net assets under $550,000 or who are otherwise vulnerable will now be available to anyone in Australia. The program had previously been running in the Family Law Courts in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Parramatta, and aims to make the experience of leaving a marriage or long-term relationship less daunting.
