MIGRANTS NEED TO ASSIMILATE AND BE GRATEFUL TO BE IN AUSTRALIA
I’m often asked: “How can I be a registered migration agent and hate migration”?
No, This country was founded in migration and when applied in the correct manner with caps, limits on those allowed to enter, it can benefit Australia significantly.
My issue is with the scamming, legal loopholes and criminals including terrorists they allow into this nation when such people could be prevented from entering.
I want to talk about something positive for once:
Meet Dr Aseel Yakko.
A physician from Iraq who fled ISIS terrorists and now after getting his medical qualifications recognised here in Australia benefits the Australian community by only bulk billing for his expertise services.
“I see this as a small way of giving back to the community and to Australian society for
giving my family refuge after we were forced to flee Iraq,” Dr Yako said.
“Some patients stop seeing specialists because they can’t afford that, and I have seen that happen.”
Just incredible. This is what we want here. You don’t need to be a doctor. You just need to be grateful and contribute to society in what ever way you can.
You care about Australian people, our culture and society – That’s what makes you Australian.
Another great example is Ms Jamila Alarkan who finished her degree in Syria by candle light while bombs and missiles were flying around her. Now, she’s benefitting Australia by overseeing our wind farm project.
“I came seeking safety, but I also arrived with skills, ambition, and a strong desire to contribute,” she said.
“Like many refugees, I didn’t come to be defined by what I had lost, but by what I was determined to rebuild.”
Significant changes need to happen in our migration system.
