Cougar Cat 12 is a 12 metre long, wide bodied luxury catamaran, purpose built for Fishing and Whale Viewing with a cruising speed of 25 knots, powered by twin turbo diesel engines, ensuring a very safe and stable cruise. Our local skipper and crew (who have fish
ed the seas in and around Coffs Harbour for over 20 years) will take you to their most prized fishing spots. We will target Pearl Perch, Snapper, Flathead, Jewfish, Amberjack, Trag, Cobia and Kingfish. In season, we will often encounter Tuna. We will do our best to make your fishing day memorable!! You'll have a great day out on Cougar Cat 12 - not only will you enjoy the fishing - you may even see whales (migration season) and dolphins. COUGAR CAT 12 is equipped with the latest GPS Depth Sounder and Radar to find the most productive fishing spots. We use top of the line Penn and Shimano tackle. Our boat is renowned for its stability (five metres wide) and there is plenty of room to move about. We cater for all age groups from grandkids to grandparents. COUGAR CAT 12 has plenty of shade areas and also has a W.C. on board. Choose from Reef Fishing or Game Fishing, and we even offer Twilight and Night Fishing.
