We are proud to welcome Claudia Brophy-Odgers to the team at Vic Rajah Family & Estate Lawyers where she works as a Law Clerk in the Family Law team. Claudia is currently in the final year of a Juris Doctor degree at La Trobe University which she will complete in November 2026.

With an extensive employment history in social work, Claudia has assisted many clients and families navigate a range of challenges including mental and physical health concerns, family violence, housing insecurity, drug and alcohol addictions and engagement with the criminal justice system.

Awarded the 2023 Law School Dean’s Prize for achieving the highest grade in Australian Family Law and the 2024 and 2025 Law School Dean’s Prize for achieving the highest grade in both Legal Internship subjects, Claudia has strong academic credentials. She also brings compassion and an empathetic approach to family law clients as she is skilled in assisting people who have experienced conflict, grief, uncertainty, and major changes to family relationships.

Outside of work Claudia enjoys running having completed multiple half marathons and charitable runs and spending time with her two young children. She is also actively involved in her community volunteering at local events.

We recently welcomed Cooper Denton to the team at Vic Rajah Family & Estate Lawyers where he is working as a Family Lawyer. A Mornington Peninsula local, Cooper attended the Peninsula School and was a Prefect in his VCE year. As a keen sportsman, Cooper has a longstanding involvement with Mt Eliza Junior Football Club and Old Peninsula Football Club both as a player and member. He has also worked as a basketball referee in the Frankston Basketball Association.

Reflecting his strong commitment to justice and disability inclusion, Cooper has worked as an NDIS Carer since 2023. He takes great pride in assisting his clients to develop life skills, social skills and independence - attributes which will serve him well for a long career in family law.
