【New 485 Replacement Visa Criteria Finalized】 Implementation starts from 1 July 2022!

On 27 June 2022, the Department of Home Affairs released the “Migration Amendment (Subclass 485 (Temporary Graduate) Visa Replacement Stream and Other Measures) Regulations 2022” to explain the detail of the New 485 Visa Replacement Stream.

There are 4 main points:
（1）A visa can be submitted or obtained regardless of whether the applicant is within or outside Australia！

（2）The application period for this New 485 Replacement Visa is from 1 July 2022 to 1 January 2027！

（3）Regardless of whether the applicant's first 485 visa is granted in Australia or overseas, the holders of these visas will be eligible to apply for a 485 Replacement Visa as long as the applicant is unable to stay in Australia for the duration of the first 485 visa due to departure from 1 February 2020 to 14 December 2021.

Pay Attention！！

The current application for Master (Coursework) 485 is 3 years, but 485 Replacement is the same length as the original 485 visa, it is 2 years, not 3 years!

（4）If the 485 visa holder graduated from a university in a regional area and applies for the 485 Replacement, they can still apply for 1-2 years of renewal.

新州491 最新更新 - 重點已畫好

分为三大类
1. 偏远地区工作 + 居住 12个月
2. 偏远地区 读书2年 毕业 491
3. 外州申请者 a. job offer b. 境外（5年工作经验以上）c. 491 亲属担保类，（nsw 489持有者 都可以算！）
以上三类是 NSW 统一标准（發放則由各個地方那個政府發放）
至于各个偏远地区 会有自己要担保的职业 （清单由各个偏远地区公布）所以目前不知道
