On Saturday 25 October ACT Rescue and Foster held their annual trivia night which by all accounts was huge success. Our director Paul was also particularly pleased being on the winning table.

Congratulations to the successful bidders at the silent auction for a gift voucher from Artisan Legal.

We are proud to continue to support such a worthy cause and look forward to being involved next year.

The Theatre Lane public carpark has now closed for the construction of the new Lyric Theatre. There is some limited parking (including accessible spaces) on Akuna Street. The closest carparks are either Constitution Place and the Canberra Centre.

Dear Kellin,

I have known you since 2018 and you were one of my first real mentors. You met me as a paralegal about to graduate and become a baby lawyer and in way over my head. You were so kind and generous with your knowledge, so open and willing to share with me what you knew to help me become the lawyer I wanted to be. You taught me about the absolute importance of building kind, collaborative and respectful relationships with my colleagues and other professionals. You taught me how important it is to make clients feel comfortable and safe and helped me learn how to do that. You taught me how to make something as complicated as the law easy for everybody to understand. I hope you know that you have done well in teaching your philosophy to us.

You did what you set out to do, and now its time for you to rest and pass the torch. I know that retiring wasn’t an easy decision for you to make, but I at least hope you are comforted to know that Artisan will be taken care of and is in good hands. Thank you for trusting me with it.

In the time that I have known you I haven’t seen you stop. You always went above and beyond and you gave all of your time. Its now time for you to give some of that time back to yourself. I really hope that this new chapter of your life will be just what you need.

Of course this isn’t our final goodbye and is just the beginning of another chapter. Let’s see what it brings us. Thank you for everything you have taught us and everything you have done. We are so grateful for it.

We are excited to announce the appointment of Sevil Kargar as a director of the firm effective 31 March! We are similarly excited to congratulate Kellin on his retirement effective at that time. Kellin has been thrilled to watch the firm grow since its inception, and is proud to leave it in the hands of an experienced and capable team.
