The Junction Clubhouse provides a welcoming, inclusive community for people experiencing mental illness.

At 12pm on Friday, 16 October they are hosting the Junction Connection Lunch with guest speaker, Ian Thorpe.

The event at the Hilton Hotel Cairns will bring together FNQ's business and community leaders for an inspiring afternoon of connection, conversation, and purpose.

Ian Thorpe’s presence is meaningful for more than what he achieved in the pool. It's his courage in speaking openly about mental illness and his commitment to reducing the stigma that still prevents so many people from seeking help.

Funds raised will go directly to supporting the ongoing work of The Junction Clubhouse, providing vital community, connection, and mental health support to the people in our region who need it most.
