The Australian government is trying to take a bold stance on use of copyright materials by AI systems. There won’t be a general exemption for AI but perhaps some kind of system for consents or licensing. A tough job and we await updates!

A bit of a celebration this Trade Mark Tuesday - the Australia Made logo turned 40! It’s a certification trade mark subject to special rules. With consistent use over time it has developed some serious goodwill.

A gorgeous new logo has dropped - for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics. Don’t rush to use it though, business use will probably need approval from an Olympic committee so get advice!
