If you are genuinely serious about studying Nursing in Tasmania, this is one event you should make the effort to attend.

The University of Tasmania team will be at the OEVS Brisbane Nursing Open Day on Thursday, 10 September, and this is your chance to speak with them face to face about your nursing study options.

If you are open to moving to Tasmania, come prepared with your questions about courses, entry requirements, scholarships, pathways and future study plans. Instead of relying on bits and pieces of information online, speak directly with the university and understand what your options really are.

We’re getting closer to the OEVS Brisbane Nursing Open Day 2026, and we’re pleased to have Western Sydney University joining us on the day.

In this video, Zoe Song, International Regional Manager (UK & Europe), Western Sydney University, shares a message for students considering their nursing study options.

If you’re currently studying a Diploma of Nursing, working in Aged Care or Individual Support, already an Enrolled Nurse, or looking at a Bachelor of Nursing / Pre-Registration nursing pathway, this is a good chance to speak directly with university representatives and ask your questions in person.

Had a great time attending the Torrens University Australia Education Partner Symposium today with the OEVS Brisbane team.

A big thank you to Rob Mcgowan- Vice President Torrens University Australia, Petra Eckerova- Director International, Jenny Matiz- Regional Manager and Ahad Sarkar for having us and for always making us feel so welcome.

With so much change happening in international education at the moment, it was really good to hear about the new developments, ideas and opportunities coming up at Torrens University Australia.

Always nice to catch up in person, have some good conversations and spend time with people who continue to support our team and our students.

We have one more university joining us for the OEVS Brisbane Nursing Open Day 2026 — and this one will be especially useful for students looking at Tasmania.

We’re pleased to confirm that the University of Tasmania (UTAS) will be participating in the event.

If you’re an international student considering nursing and Tasmania is one of the places you’re seriously looking at, this will be a good opportunity to speak with the UTAS team directly in Brisbane and get a clearer idea of the study options available.
