Today is United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This day also launches 16 days of activism and reminds us to work together to address the issue. ⁣

“It is essential for all in the community to speak up, take action, and not turn a blind eye to violence against women in the community,” shares Dianne Gipey, State Manager of The Salvation Army’s Family Violence Services in NT and QLD. ⁣

Meet Our Team Monday

Meet Katherine! Katherine is the Legal Practice Director of FP Lawyers. Katherine started FP Lawyers with her Daughter Alyce who you met last week. Katherine not only is the principal of FP Lawyers, she is also the director of our Accounting Firm Francis Parasyn Accountants.

Katherine manages her time over her legal matters and her accounting matters. Katherine has a special interest in family law, taxation law, Wills and Estates and commercial law.

In her spare time Katherine enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym and travelling and supporting a number of charities.

Meet our team Mondays!

Alyce is our principal lawyer and has been a part of our company from the very beginning. Alyce works closely with our staff and is always available to assist in any complicated matters. She is our number one problem solver!

Alyce has a special interest in Wills and Estates, assisting our clients with all matters, retirement village contracts, family law and general legal matters.

When Alyce is not at the office, she is busy raising young children. Alyce loves to travel and enjoys a good book with a coffee in her down time.
