A great day out at the Southside Seniors Expo! 💚

We loved meeting so many people from our local community and having conversations about estate planning, Wills, enduring powers of attorney and planning for the future.

We even had a very special junior member of the Nurture Law team helping out at our stall - Hugh! He took his expo duties very seriously and was a great little helper. 😊

The Nurture Law team recently spent a team cohesion day with Lawganised, exploring our different personality types and how to give and receive feedback well.

One idea that stayed with us was Ubuntu: “I am because we are.” It’s a reminder that the way we support, listen to and learn from one another shapes the whole team.

Thank you to Lawganised for guiding such thoughtful conversations. We’re looking forward to putting what we learnt into practice. 💚

A day of learning, connecting and keeping at the forefront of estates and succession law. ⚖️

Our lawyers have spent today at the STEP Queensland Conference, hearing from an excellent line-up of speakers across the judiciary, Bar, legal profession and financial services.

The program covered everything from unusual wills and grants, superannuation succession and executors’ duties, through to estate planning for vulnerable beneficiaries, developments in wills and estates litigation, and the changing role of AI and innovation in legal practice.

For our team, professional development like this is about more than CPD points. It’s about continuing to deepen our expertise, challenge our thinking and make sure the advice we give our clients reflects current law, emerging issues and best practice.
