Covid travel restrictions remain in place for Australia. Only Australian Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents, and members of their families, are allowed to enter Australia. Critical professions - for example, Medical - are considered for sponsorship or visa nomination. With early data on vaccines appearing to confirm their effectiveness, we may be looking at the return of international travel in the near future for people who have completed their course of vaccines. There is no official announcement of this policy but it would appear to be one of the most likely solutions - have a vaccine before you fly. As soon as there is an announcement from the Australian Department of Home Affairs, it will be posted here.
