Are you considering making a will? In the case of Girotto v Girotto [2025] NSWSC 616 the Supreme Court of NSW deemed that the son of the testatrix (deceased) did not receive an adequate provision from his mother from her estate. The court considered their relationship, the size of the estate and the provision made to her other son and beneficiary.
