For one day only, Thursday 4 June, every donation to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout is doubled by a generous Vinnies benefactor, until the matching pool runs out.

That means every dollar Team Woodards raises does twice the work, putting us closer to funding our next Vinnies soup van. These vans are on the road every day and night, serving more than a million meals to people doing it tough. For many, that van is the only human connection they'll have all day.

The pool empties as people give, so the earlier you donate, the more likely your dollar is still being matched.

For Woodards Executive Chairman, John Piccolo, community isn't just a wordβ€”it’s a decade-long commitment.

In just 28 days, John will participate in his 10th Vinnies CEO Sleepout. John's dedication to this cause has only deepened over time. What started as a single night in the cold has turned into a ten-year journey of realising that while choosing to sleep outside for one night is a privilege, for thousands in our community, it is a harsh reality.

This year, John won't be alone; he will be sleeping out alongside 21 others from the Woodards team to support the life-changing work the St Vincent de Paul Society delivers night after night.

John continues to return to the cold because the mission is both personal and incredibly practical. At Woodards, we believe that once you see the need for housing support up close, you simply cannot unsee it.
