Another great outcome at Penrith Local Court yesterday ⚖️

The Court has the power to revoke a Defendant's bail PRIOR to being sentenced if it is satisfied that they will receive a term of full-time imprisonment. We argued that there was an alternative available, and the Magistrate agreed.

Last week we appeared at Parramatta Local Court for a defended hearing. Our client maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings. The Magistrate was not satisfied beyond a reasonable doubt and therefore he was found NOT guilty on all 3 charges.

Family is difficult. Not seeing your children for 3 years is worse. All it takes is that first step. In this case we tried to negotiate with the other party, mediation also failed and unfortunately our client was left with no choice but to file court proceedings.
