A wonderful day of justice and vindication today! ⚖️ 🏉

Azadi Lawyers appeared with Thomas Skinner of Counsel for our client , a dedicated football player, who faced serious assault charges. Our client was found not guilty with all charges dismissed. ⚖️

We wish her all best and will be cheering as she steps back onto the field!

Newtown Local Court: Costs awarded and non conviction ⚖️

Just two weeks ago, the court awarded costs AGAINST the police in favour of our client - meaning the police had to pay our clients legal fees for the day ⚖️ Today, after strong negotiations, we successfully convinced the police to withdraw the charges we say should never have been laid, and change the remaining charge/facts substantially. The circumstances were understood, and the magistrate agreed: our client should not be convicted. Our client walked away with just a good behavior bond and NO criminal record.

Sudden errors in judgement can happen to anyone, but a strong legal team makes all the difference. 💪
