🚨 AI is making property scams harder to spot.
New research from PEXA has found that Australians' confidence in identifying property scams has fallen from 51% to just 41% in the past year.
Scammers are increasingly using phishing emails, fake payment requests, impersonation and AI-generated voices to target property buyers.
🏠 Protect yourself by:
• Independently verifying bank details
• Being cautious of urgent payment requests
• Confirming any changes to payment details directly
When large sums of money are involved, always stop and verify before you transfer.
